Is the Academy suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. The pathway begins with core foundations, but you should be prepared to study consistently, solve problems and build independently. Existing technical experience can help you move faster, but it is not required.
Do I need a computer science degree?
No. The Academy is built around practical capability, projects and communication rather than a degree requirement. Many members landed roles with no degree at all.
Do I need to know how to code first?
No. DevOps is about systems more than application code, Linux, cloud, automation, deployment. You'll learn the scripting you need inside the roadmap.
Does CoderCo guarantee me a job or a specific salary?
No. CoderCo provides training, projects, support and career preparation. Employment and salary outcomes depend on your effort, prior experience, interview performance, location, role, employer and the wider market.
How long will it take?
The Academy is self-paced, so the timeline depends on your starting point and weekly commitment. The team will give you a realistic expectation on your call.
I work full-time, will I keep up?
Most members study around a full-time job. Consistent weekly hours beat intensity, the sessions are recorded, and the community keeps you accountable between them.
How much time should I commit?

Is the Academy only recorded content?
No. The experience combines structured learning with practical projects, live support, community and career preparation. The curriculum above is the content spine, the support around it is the difference.
What projects will I build?
Practical cloud and DevOps work covering infrastructure, containers, automation and deployment, headlined by the ECS Project, the flagship build members walk through in interviews. Explore the dashboard above for the full picture.
Do I need a powerful computer?
No. A standard laptop is fine, the heavy lifting happens in the cloud. You'll set up your environment in the first module (Windows, Mac and Linux all work).
Will I receive interview help?
Yes. The CV Module, LinkedIn Module and 100+ interview prep recordings are part of the Academy, alongside live interview preparation, subject to current membership policies.
Can I join from outside the UK?
Yes, members have landed roles in the UK, Sweden, Switzerland and the UAE. Job-market support and salary expectations vary by country; the team will clarify what applies to you.
What does the Academy cost?
$3,000 per year. Final currency and payment terms are confirmed on your call.
How long do I get access?
